If you currently own a Netapp filer (F700 or F800 series) with a HVD (High-Voltage Differential) SCSI tape library and are looking to upgrade to the new FAS900 series filers you will need our SCSI conversion kit!

The FAS900 series filers only support LVD and Fibre Channel controller cards and many Netapp customers utilize HVD SCSI tape libraries. By simply purchasing your 900 filer with a LVD SCSI card (Netapp PN#X2023C) our SCSI conversion kit will not consume a SCSI ID, and the system will operate with no compromise of throughput. Our kit includes the converter and necessary cabling for a complete solution.
